Lucy is a registered clinical counsellor (RCC) with the BCACC and holds a Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology. Through her work in the Northern school system she developed a passion for helping youth and families build strong and meaningful relationships.
Through talk, art, and play modalities Lucy strives to help each individual develop positive ways in which to address the stressors and anxieties in their daily lives. Her understanding of how these stressors can manifest differently enables her to work closely with each client to find a path that works best for them. Whether you are a child, teen, or adult, Lucy utilizes a client centred therapeutic framework that draws on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, narrative therapy, and psycho-education to help her clients reach their therapeutic goals. In this way, she encourages clients to find individual ways to help them face the stressors in life and to be able to move through life with confidence and acceptance.
Currently Lucy is accepting clients of all ages in person on Saturdays at Hollytree Wellness Centre or virtually. If you have any questions please email info@lucymagnallrcc.ca.
